Carly and Chris are, like all of our couples, such a sweet and fun pair! Carly was actually a bridesmaid in Megan + Chris’ wedding two years ago and I immediately remembered her when I got the email about her wedding photography! We loved walking around Downtown Annapolis with Carly and Chris and learning more about them as they live states apart and plan for their wedding this upcoming January. It’s true what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, but it certainly doesn’t mean it’s easy! It’s an honor to be able to capture these two in one of the most special, albeit busiest, time in their lives. We can’t wait to be back in Annapolis for their winter wedding!

Jessica and Bobby’s engagement session is proof of why it is totally worth getting up before 5:00am to catch the sunrise! We are in love with these images from their sunrise session last weekend! We arrived to a quiet downtown Annapolis just before sunrise, and headed to the waterfront of the Severn river to start our day. These two truly made our job easy. Jessica and Bobby are the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been friends for years. Bobby is actually the brother to one of my former brides, so it is an extra privilege to be his wedding photographer. This isn’t the first time Renata and I have had the privilege to become wedding photographers to friends and family of past couples and it’s one of the most amazing opportunities! We’ve always said we have the unique privilege of feeling like we’ve gained a few extra family members after photographing a wedding day, and these two are a part of that! So Jessica and Bobby, thank you for such an amazing morning on the Naval Academy yard, we cannot wait to see you again this November! xo

For Danielle and Jeremy it was all about timing. Their love story is one that started years after initially meeting– as Danielle said, when they first met, marriage was the furthest thing from her mind. When they reconnected, they knew it was forever. These two are so sweet together and it’s a privilege to be their photographers! For the engagement session, we went back to the place where Jeremy proposed a few months ago, Quiet Waters Park on the South River. This beautiful evening on the water got us so excited for their waterfront wedding this winter!
